Ingredients

- 1 lb ground turkey (or chicken or plant based protein)
- 2 colorful bell peppers, seeded and chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, finely minced
- 2 tsp Coconut Aminos (replaces fish sauce)
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/4 cup chopped mint leaves
- 3 tbsp lime juice
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Lettuce cups
- Lola’s hot sauce (or other low sodium brand)
Method


- In a large skillet, heat a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil and brown the turkey meat.
- Then add the bell peppers, garlic, and coconut aminos and sauté for about 5 minutes.
- Take off the heat. Now add both the mint and cilantro, the lime juice and the sugar. Mix it all till combined well.
- Serve in crisp lettuce cups, topped with hot sauce.
